People we've met whilst travelling

Traveling is a past time of many people from all walks of life, here are a few of the like minded people we've met on our adventures riding2up around the world. You could call them our heros.

Miquel we met in Istanbul Turkey at the BMW dealer. Miquel has several GS's and has ridden in Africa, North America, Central Asia and Europe.

Anja and Holger we met in Laos and they ride BMW 650GS, their travels have taken them from Europe to Australia via Asia and beyond.

Bjorn we met also in Laos, at the time he was riding with Anja and Holger. Bjorn has ridden the KKH in western China and northern Pakistan.

Originally from Switzerland now Australian after 20+ years in Oz rode from Sydney to Switzerland together on their R1150GS. We met them in Luang prabang in Laos and rode together from Northern India to Turkey.

Rob we got in contact with via the HUBB and met him in Shimla northern India whilst he was travelling with some German motorcyclists.

Patrizia and Bruno we met in Esfhan, Iran. They are an extremely fit Swiss couple riding a tandem bicycle around the world.

Gudio and Esther have covered all the continents riding for 6 years around the world. We met them at a Police station in Penang, Malaysia.

Thierry Wilheim is a realestate broker who we met in Basel. Thierry rides a BMW 650GS Dakar and has covered all of south America on his bike and now he is on his next adventure to Australia and beyond.

Darius and Jane started their trip in the Philippines. We met up with them in Chitwan NP in Southern Nepal after following them online for some time. They ride two-up on their Africa Twin that Darius, a scuba diving instructor and self taught mechanic rebuilt whilst in Germany.
